If you could travel back in time to any period, and meet any person who is historically significant, who would you want to meet and why? |
Abraham Lincoln – His integrity and his service and dedication to the country and his leadership in a tough time. |
Out of all the problems that we are facing in our world today, what do you consider is our biggest problem and how do you think we can solve this problem? |
Mass migration of Islam. We could make it harder to immigrate. |
Do you think it is possible that you and I were put here on this earth for some kind of purpose? If so, what do you think that was? If not, why do you think so? |
Absolutely. Some kind of social experiment. |
We live in a world that tends to believe, now more than ever, that all religions are equal and no one religion is better than another. In your opinion does it matter what someone believes? If not, why not, if so, why so? |
I think all religions are right for them. But I do not believe they are right. Yes, it matters what someone believes. I want others to have values that align with myself. Some religions are doing forceful things. |
All religions have different beliefs about the afterlife but many seem to indicate that we go to a better place, if we do the right things in this life. What do you personally believe about the afterlife and what do you think we need to do in this life in order to get to this better place in the next life? |
I am not convinced in an afterlife. If there is, to get there, you have to live in a certain moral code. The Bible seems like a good guide for behavior. |
If you do not believe there is life after this life is over, where do you think we came from? |
God |
If you do not believe there is life after this life is over, why is it difficult for us to avoid believing in non-material things like truth, love, beauty, goodness, etc…? |
don’t know |

Aristotle – He is within my collection of people with the highest density of high level thought and logic. |
Out of all the problems that we are facing in our world today, what do you consider is our biggest problem and how do you think we can solve this problem? |
A lack of mindfulness. Most people are selfish and don’t see other people. Solved by limitation of human freedom – which isn’t possible. Also having effective parenting – we often improperly understand one another. If we can’t understand one another, how do really care. Home level is where it starts. The Home level is being deconstructed (homes without moms and dads). Because we are becoming a more secular world, there is no moral maxim to gauge yourself by. |
Do you think it is possible that you and I were put here on this earth for some kind of purpose? If so, what do you think that was? If not, why do you think so? |
A General purpose – do good unto others. I don’t know why. |

All religions are not equal. I does and doesn’t matter. Let’s say there is a religion of “Bob” and they rearrange the Bible and twist it to be hateful. If they incline people to terrorism it would infringe on other people’s rights and freedom to live. |

What do you personally believe about the afterlife and what do you think we need to do in this life in order to get to this better place in the next life? |
The concept of eternity regardless of pleasure or torture seems like it would strip a person of what makes a person a person. Thinking of the essence of living forever isn’t something I would like. This is my greatest barrier fully accepting Christianity |
If you do not believe there is life after this life is over, where do you think we came from? |
I wish there wasn’t – But I believe we came from a Creator (God) |

I’d like to meet Felix Mendelssohn. Pick his mind about his composing, his conversion to Christianity. |
Out of all the problems that we are facing in our world today, what do you consider is our biggest problem and how do you think we can solve this problem? |
Mental health. Poor mental health leads to gun violence, it leads to suicide, it leads to hate between individuals. It would change the stigma about therapy and make it more affordable. |
Do you think it is possible that you and I were put here on this earth for some kind of purpose? If so, what do you think that was? If not, why do you think so? |
Yes. To serve Jesus Christ and point others towards Him |

Yes. We should believe in Christ as the messiah because he is God. |

I believe if we believe that Jesus is God and serve Him then we will go to heaven. |

If I could actually do that I would like to travel back and meet some of the great warriors….Leonidas, Alexander the Great, Sun Tzu, etc. Being a warrior for many years I would like to glean from them. I actually wish I could have done that before I joined the Army. |
Out of all the problems that we are facing in our world today, what do you consider is our biggest problem and how do you think we can solve this problem? |
I would say its humans and religion. |
Do you think it is possible that you and I were put here on this earth for some kind of purpose? If so, what do you think that was? If not, why do you think so? |
I think your purpose is what you make it to be. I don’t know if there is some grand plan. |
We live in a world that tends to believe, now more than ever, that all religions are equal and no one religion is better than another. In your opinion does it matter what someone believes? If not, why not, if so, why so? |
As I said earlier, I don’t see the value in religion. I don’t think it matters what you believe as long as you are doing your part…whatever that is. |

I think you do what you can here and done worry about what happens next.. |
If you do not believe there is life after this life is over, where do you think we came from? |
I don’t really know where we came from, I don’t spend too much time considering that. |
If you do not believe there is life after this life is over, why is it difficult for us to avoid believing in non-material things like truth, love, beauty, goodness, etc…? |
I didn’t say I don’t believe it, I just don’t concern myself with that. As for truth, I believe its what you make it. I don’t things are always black and white, I think there is always gray area. |

If you could travel back in time to any period, and meet any person who is historically significant, who would you want to meet and why? |
Ummm, I don’t really know if I would choose any specific person. I would actually like to go back to a specific time period and ask questions of the people there. Primarily because that’s where I think we have gone wrong, is relying on what one person or a specific group of people have to say. I would rather her from the collective. |
Out of all the problems that we are facing in our world today, what do you consider is our biggest problem and how do you think we can solve this problem? |
I hope you don’t get upset with me, but religion and politics have done more damage to this world than anything else. |
Do you think it is possible that you and I were put here on this earth for some kind of purpose? If so, what do you think that was? If not, why do you think so? |
I think science has shown we are the product of evolution. So, I don’t know if there is some specific thing we are supposed to do. As a matter of fact, I believe this is some of what holds a lot of people back; they are overly concerned about trying to find that specific thing they are supposed to be doing all the while missing out on opportunities and not appreciating the people around them. |
We live in a world that tends to believe, now more than ever, that all religions are equal and no one religion is better than another. In your opinion does it matter what someone believes? If not, why not, if so, why so? |
Well as I stated earlier, I don’t believe religion is value added, so I have no opinion if they are all created equal or not. Again, I believe generally they are detrimental to the progress of the human race. I am not saying there is nothing good that has come from religions, what I am saying is that overwhelmingly we see turmoil and disagreement. with that said I don’t think it matters if a person believes but I do think it matters what they believe in and why they believe it…and what they are willing to do for it; whatever that “it” is. |

Again, I don’t want to offend you because I know you are a Christian, but most people use the afterlife philosophy to either inspire or scare people into being good while they are here. although I don’t think that’s a bad concept; why can’t we just be good to people without having to be teased with the heaven we’re scared with the hell? |
If you do not believe there is life after this life is over, where do you think we came from? |
I believe science has answered that question is that we basically evolved I can’t sit here and tell you specifically from what but from what I can gather over the course of a long time we evolved. |
If you do not believe there is life after this life is over, why is it difficult for us to avoid believing in non-material things like truth, love, beauty, goodness, etc…? |
I guess you are asking me if the afterlife is real? |
